ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday to attend the Economic Coordination Organisation (ECO) beginning in Islamabad from March 1.
The dignitary was warmly received by officials followed by a 21-gun salute.
On Wednesday, prime minister’s top foreign policy aide Sartaj Aziz announced that Pakistan will host the 13th ECO summit, which will deliberate upon ways and means to augment cooperation in areas of connectivity, trade, energy, tourism, investment, industry, economic growth, productivity, social welfare and environment, he said.
