A target killer of MQM-London (MQM-L) has been apprehended, while weapons have also been recovered during a search operation by police in Landhi area of Karachi.
On a tip-off, the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) raided a hideout in Landhi area of Karachi on Friday and rounded up a target killer.
The target killer was identified as Kashif Nazir, who was wanted to police in the killing of six police personnel.
He had carried out indiscriminate firing and hurled hand grenades at police mobile deployed at the residence of Mujahir Quami Movement Chairman Afaq Ahmed, where six police personnel were killed and a police officer was injured in the incident took place in 2014.
