A decision has been taken to distribute pink motorcycles instead of scooters to women in five districts of Punjab under the Scooty for Working Women Project.

The Punjab planning and development department has approved Rs 90 million for the project. The working women would be provided with Altus Honda motorcycles instead of scooters. The decision to replace the scooters with motorcycles was made to save higher expenses from being incurred.

The districts which fall under the scheme are Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala. Around 20,000 women will be given the motorcycles.

  2. I think this the good decisions for the women to go with the first era. It should be inspire the women to be self depended in the communication. I hope they are like to journey with these motorcycles.
