The federal government is likely to hike prices of petroleum goods up to Rs16.71 per litre.
According to a news channel, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested the federal government increase petrol prices by Rs1.91 per litre, recommending a hike of Rs2.03 per litre on diesel.
An increase of Rs 16.71 per litre has been recommended by the regulatory authority.
OGRA has also suggested the federal government increase light diesel’s cost by Rs12.53 per litre.
The federal government will announce the final prices by tonight (Wednesday).
On February 1, the government had announced to readjust prices of petroleum products by Rs2.25 per litre.
