Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday said his party office-bearers had authorised the possibility of PML-Q’s inclusion in the federal government.
Speaking to media representatives here, Elahi said the PML-Q wanted to bring all political parties into the fold of the national agenda.
Elahi said that they had consulted around 300 politicians and party leaders about joining of the coalition government, adding that party office-bearers from all the four provinces have granted authority to them about any decision regarding it.
He further said that the PML-Q was also in consultations with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl).
Elahi said that they were joining PPP coalition in the interest of the nation and the country. Moreover, he said the PML-Q was in favour of the formation of the Hazara province as well as the division of Punjab into new provinces. He, however, said that the Q-league was against the division of the Sindh province.
