OPC helps retrieve shop

Due to the efforts of the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), the shop of an expatriate Pakistani has been retrieved from illegal occupation.

OPC Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti said that Saudi-Arabia based Zulfiqar Ali had lodged a complaint with the commission, saying that his tenant had refused to vacate his shop situated in Shawala Chowk, Baghbanpura, Lahore. The complainant further said that the tenant was threatening the complainant’s family members when demanded to vacate the premises.

The complaint was referred to the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Lahore which after the committee had the shop vacated and handed back to the original owner.
