National Women’s Cycling paddles off today

The 9th National Women’ Cycling Championship will paddle off from April 28 here and all the participating teams have reached the city.
Secretary Pakistan Cycling Federation Khawaja Idris Haider said that all arrangements for organising this three day event in a befitting manner have been finalised.
He said that the event is being organised as part of the development of women cycling in the country. He said that all the affiliated units of PCF including Army, Railways, WAPDA, Sui Southern Gas Company and all the four provinces and FATA are participating.
The opening ceremony, which will be held at the Cycling Velodrome (near Gaddafi Stadium), Ferozepur Road Lahore on April 28 at 5 pm, will be graced by Sharyar Ali Mailk, Senior Executive Guard Group, while chief guest of the closing and prize distribution ceremony will be Begum Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa, Governor Punjab on April 30 at 05.00 PM at the Cycling Velodrome.
