LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana-ullah on Friday denied the government’s involvement in the matter of writing loans off.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaff (PTI) has alleged the ruling government of having loans written-off during the proceedings of Punjab Assembly.

While talking to media personnel, Sana-ullah referred Jahangir Khan Tareen as ‘Imran Khan’s ATM Machine’ and added that Jahangir Khan Tareen was luxuriating in billion of rupees after having his loans written off.

The minister also rejected the PTI’s allegations against him and said that “no loan was written off on political basis”.

The minister, moreover, claimed that the PTI leaders have waived off loans not the PML-N.

He further said that the party has not been involved in getting loan write-off on political grounds.

Moreover, no person in PML (N) could be linked with Loan write-off issue.
