At least three suspects including an alleged member of political party’s militant wing have been apprehended during search operations by Rangers in different areas of Karachi.
On a tip-off, the Rangers personnel raided hideouts in Pak Colony, Lyari, Baldia Town, Korangi and adjoining areas on Friday and rounded up three suspects.
The personnel also recovered illegal weapons, which were being used for terrorist activities in different areas of Karachi.
The Ranger spokesperson said that one of the detainees was affiliated with a political party’s militant wing.
The suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
