At least 17 injured in Multan, Khanewal due to fog-related accidents

At least 17 people were injured on Wednesday in fog-related accidents in Multan and Khanewal.

Rescue teams arrived at the spot and shifted the wounded to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.

Traffic routine was widely disrupted after fog engulfed various cities of Punjab including Mian Chunnu, Khanewal, Multan and Bahawalpur.

Visibility on the National Highway was zero due to a thick blanket of fog.

Motorway police have advised the citizens to use fog lights and avoid unnecessary travelling.
