Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has decided to take retirement decision after the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Misbah-ul-Haq said that a month of cricket in PSL would help him in evaluating the amount of cricket that is still left in him.

Misbah said that it was easy to take retirement from cricket after winning the series against England in United Arab Emirates (UAE), or after becoming the number one Test side, but it would have been a selfish decision.

The Test skipper explained that sometimes you have to sacrifice your personal interests and think about your team, and the squad needed me in the tough New Zealand and Australia tours.

Misbah told that he opted to stand by his team to show the youngsters how to face tough conditions and difficult challenges.

The veteran is now thinking about his retirement after getting a green signal from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
