A youth was gunned down by a shopkeeper in Gilyana, native village of Gujar Khan, within the limits of Gujar Khan Police.
According to media reports, Amjad Shahzad, brother of the victim has lodged a complaint with local police that his brother, Muhammad Saeed informed him that their brother Masood ul Hasan, was lying in injured condition When they reached the scene, the accused Muhammad Waqas was also present
The accused told both of them that Masood ul Hasan had entered into his brother shop with the intent of robbery and therefore he opened fire at him. Resultantly, he received serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby local hospital for first aid but he could not survive.
The body was handed over to his family members after medico-legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
