Larkana Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khasif Ali Tipu paid a surprise visit to CMC Hospital and Shaikh Zaid Women Hospital on Monday to review arrangements made for patients suffering from various diseases.
During his visit, the DC enquired about the problems of patients and directed the medical superintendent (MS) of CMC Hospital to ensure the provision of proper healthcare facilities in all wards of the hospital.
He took notice of the shortage of the medicines in the hospital, improper generator facilities, as well as poor cleanliness and security issues.
He directed relevant authorities to resolve these basic problems and warned of legal action against negligent officers.
