FAISALABAD: Police Sunday (today) lodged a First Investigation Report (FIR) against lawyers on the charge of aerial firing.
The jubilant lawyers resorted to heavy aerial firing after winning District Bar Association (DBA) elections in Faisalabad.
However, no arrest has yet been made in the incident.
Later, after footage of aerial firing aired on private news channels, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took immediate notice.
Following the directions of Shahbaz Sharif, heavy contingents of police cordoned off the building of DBA and filed a case against five nominated lawyers.
