Karachi: A suspect has been apprehended, while his accomplice fled the scene after firing at the Special Investigation Unit’s (SIU) police mobile in Khajawa Ajmir Nagri area in Karachi.
Two alleged terrorists attacked a police mobile within the jurisdiction of Khajawa Ajmir Nagri Police. The attackers riding on a motorcycle showed up and started firing at the SIU on Thursday.
The police retaliated and arrested a terrorist, while his accomplice fled the scene. The police also recovered weapon from the suspect possession.
According to police, the three personnel sitting in the police van remained safe in incident.
According to sources, investigation is being done from the sides of all after doubts occurred after police mobile was attacked.
Meanwhile, the police started raids, however, no arrests have been made till the filing of this report.
