Former president Asif Ali Zardari has directed Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari not to back off from the four demands and to give the government tough time.
In a telephonic conversation with Bilawal before commencement of PPP anti-government rally, Asif Zardari said that the government was playing with national interests and was not giving any consideration to 4 demands presented by the PPP. He should not go back from these four points at any cost and he should give tough time to government, he added.
PPP Chairman Bilawal assured Zardari that the anti-government movement would now move forward.
Meanwhile, the sources in PPP said that former president Asif Ali Zardari would contest election for National Assembly seat.
They said that a news item that was carried by a section of media that Zardari would not take part in the polls was actually baseless and it has nothing to do with the reality. The sources said that Asif Zardari’s decision of contesting elections on NA seat was final.
