CJP takes notice of amputation of newborn’s fingers at Ganga Ram Hospital

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of amputation of three fingers of a new born baby in Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore.

The action was taken on reports stating that hand of a new born baby at the hospital was burnt due to negligence of doctors, which resulted in subsequent amputation of his thumb and two fingers.

Taking notice of the issue, the chief justice directed Children Hospital medical director to submit a detailed report within three days.
