A student of Cadet College Larkana who was left paralysed after his teacher tortured him, awaits financial aid from the Sindh government.

Earlier it was reported that Rs 50 million had been approved by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for Ahmed’s treatment and the funds had already been released by the Sindh accountant general.

Muhammad Ahmed and his father Muhammad Rashid have been issued a visa valid for 6 months for treatment at the Ohio’s Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

According to his father, the hospital has estimated cost of treatment to be close to $250,000.

Muhammad Rashid said that for the past several weeks he has been running from pillar to post at the Sindh Secretariat, but to no avail.

The teacher broke sensitive bones of Muhammad Ahmed’s neck after strangulated him and he suffered a paralytic attack due to which his left limbs were deadened.
