Rangers, police arrest 10 in raids

KARACHI: Rangers and police on Sunday arrested 10 alleged criminals in the metropolis in targeted operations.

According to Rangers spokesperson, the paramilitary force carried out raids in Baldia town, Liaquatabad and North Karachi, where they detained eight alleged criminals linked to banned organisation. Two accused among them were militants of a political party. Weapons and bullets were also recovered from them, rangers claimed.

Meanwhile, police arrested two alleged criminals Muhammad Hasan aged 22 and Majeed Anwar aged 25 in injured condition after an encounter in Korangi. The injured were brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for the treatment.
