An oil tanker caught fire at Super Highway on Friday morning under mysterious circumstances, rescue sources told APP.
Sohrab Goth KMC Fire Brigade Station dispatched two of its fire engines to the site, immediately after receiving the report, however, the loss could not be avoided.
According to rescue officials, the task turned more difficult as the tanker contained a considerable amount of oil, however till filing of the report fire was fully doused and cooling process was underway.
According to details, the oil tanker was parked at Ansar post near Kalhoro off Super Highway when caught fire.
The driver of the tanker escaped unhurt as he managed to jump out as soon as the fire engulfed the vehicle.
According to Edhi Foundation volunteers, two of the men attempting to douse the fire, on the site, received minor injuries.
Two other oil tankers parked nearby were also partly damaged.
