The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday restrained the Health Department from taking any coercive action against 50 dispensers of District Sanghar and sought comments from the provincial law officer in this regard.
The SHC bench, headed by Justice Munib Akhtar, passed these restraining orders while hearing a petition filed by 50 dispensers including Muhammad Ishaq, Prem Das, Jhamal, Mevo, Mst Shabana and Reshmoon who moved the court against the Health Department for allegedly harassing them under the garb of SHC’s order.
In October last year, the SHC’s Hyderabad bench directed the Health Department to take action against quakes and fake doctors operating clinics in the province.
