After more than 20 years, migratory birds have started to arrive at Lal Sohanra National Park’s Patisar Lake.

Administrator Lal Sohanra National Park, Faisal Haroon told APP on Friday that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif took personal interest in restoration of Patisar Lake and on his directions, 4,500 acres of the lake has been restored.

He said that 3,150 acres were filled with water.

He told that PM had directed Senator Saud Majeed to monitor the restoration of the lake, and he took keen interest in the project and made it a success.

He told that huts and islands will be constructed at the lake for the tourists while boats are also being made for the lake as a tourist attraction.

He told that roads in the park have been constructed for easy access. Ziarat Juniper Park Balochistan and Lal Sohanra National Park are the only two UNESCO-recognised biosphere reserves of Pakistan.
