Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered to freeze all the accounts of Capital Development Authority (CDA) except salary accounts of the employees and directed the authority to pay the dues of Mehr Abadi, G-11 affectees who were deprived of their land.

Justice Shauqat Aziz Siddiqui on Wednesday directed the CDA to release the compensation payments to affectees and halt all the ongoing developing projects until then.

Justice Siddiqui said CDA pays Rs 2.5billion in a day to the influential people and when asked to pay the dues of affectees, they use delaying tactics.
