A man killed his cousin and critically injured his sister on Monday in another ‘honour-killing’ case in Hadyara area.
The girl was taken to a nearby hospital in an injured condition while the accused managed to flee, police said.
The parliament approved the bill aimed at the prevention of honour-killing in the country in October, removing a loophole that allowed killers to walk free after being pardoned by family members.
