Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday took notice of media reports about illegal occupation of land of Quaid-e-Azam University.
According to a statement, he directed Islamabad administration for the clearance of illegal land occupation and to investigate the case. Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration formed a committee in the light of minister’s orders to probe into the matter.
The chief commissioner’s office notified the committee which consisted of an assistant commissioner, tehsildar, Capital Development Authority (CDA) and university representatives.
No one would be allowed to occupy even an inch of the university’s land, the minister added.
