The Shalimar Express avoided a major disaster when one bogey of the train caught fire after its wheels got jammed near Toba Tek Singh.
The train was stopped at the Toba Tek Singh Railway station with the help of emergency brakes. The train was going to Karachi from Lahore.
No loss of life was reported in the incident. The railway teams reached the spot and started repair work. The train left for Karachi after three hours.
