- Says Imran Khan will score a century of U-turns by next elections
- Says Bilawal has no talent for politics
Federal Minister for Defence Production and Science & Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain has said that PTI Chief Imran Khan has introduced politics of chaos and confrontation in the country. He also said that the PTI chairman was dragging the baseless issue of Panama leaks to save his politics that was nose-diving to the ground.
He was talking to media at the opening ceremony of the 5th International Symposium on Biomedical Materials: Translational Research and Commercialization 2016, held at a local hotel here on Wednesday.
Rana Tanveer said that Imran Khan would complete a century of “U-turns” by the next elections.
He said they would not gain anything from this drama except disappointment, adding that lawyers of Imran Khan had failed to produce any evidence in two months against Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, inside and outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Rana Tanveer said that after demanding a commission on Panama papers, PTI had once again taken a U-turn.
“Putting up demands is a democratic right of any party but such demands should be put forth in a democratic way,” he added.
To a question, the minister said that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has no talent to handle political affairs.
Answering a question on the statement of Dr Tahirul Qadri about Pakistan-India relationship, he said that Qadri should avoid politics and comments on neighbours.
Earlier, Rana Tanveer said in his address that the PML-N government was focusing on science and technology and it was spending reasonable funds on them.
