In an industrial area in Lahore, a woman lost her life while three others were critically wounded when a factory wheel smashed into the houses.
Police and rescue officials said the incident occurred in Mehmood Boti area where an iron wheel broke out from a factory machine and landed on nearby houses, killing a woman and injuring three others.
The giant wheel destroyed roofs of three houses and several walls in the residential area.
Following the horrible incident, the area people gathered outside the factory, forcing its management to close down the industrial unit.
The factory owner managed to flee, as police conducted raids for his arrest. The mill was sealed by police following a protest by the affectees.
