A hand grenade shell was found from Lahore’s Ghalib Market on Wednesday (today).
Police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and took the grenade into custody.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Model Town Ismail Kharak, an empty grenade shell was found from a garbage pile in Ghalib market’s area Gurumangat.
The bomb disposal squad declared the bomb ineffective.
The police have started their investigation after recording statements from eyewitnesses and said that they would trace the source of the bomb with the help of CCTV cameras.
