Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal on Sunday said that his party will not collaborate with any political party before elections and its state’s responsibility to make Kalabagh Dam.

He expressed these views while addressing “meet the press” programme in Lahore Press Club.

Talking about his Lahore visit, Kamal said that he is not here to topple any government but to promote brotherhood and love. “Our charter is to gather all Pakistanis under one flag. People are joining PSP without any greed and interest,” he said, adding that he wants to eliminate religious, political and sectarian hatreds from the society.

He grilled MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain and said that now no one has remained to call his name. “Urdu speakers must not be hated because of Altaf Hussain,” he said, alleging that Altaf had been backed by Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wings (RAW), and now after 22 years, Karachi has been freed from RAW’s involvement.

“I had spent Rs 300 billion in Karachi in very transparent way when I was Nazim; that’s why nobody can point me out on course of corruption.”

Kamal further said that the prevailing issues in the country would not be ended unless power is transferred at the lowest level. “Our issues would not be resolved by just issuing statements against the US. Ten million kids are dying annually because of hunger while 25 million are deprived of their right of education,” he said.

“Punjabis will have to embrace people of Karachi and Karachiites should not be punished because of a few people,” Kamal added.

The press programme was joined by PSP leaders Raza Haroon, Iftkhar Akbar Randhawa, Mubeen Qazi and office bearer of Lahore Press Club.
