In view of the immense significance of the Rabi-ul-Awwal, the District Municipal Corporation (DMC), South Karachi, has decided to initiate a special cleanliness drive.
This was announced on Saturday by DMC South Chairman Malik Fayyaz. He directed that the best possible cleanliness arrangements be made on the occasion for the processions to be taken out on 12th of
Rabi-ul-Awwal as well as Mahafil to be held.
The holidays of the officers and the staff of the DMC South have been cancelled. Malik Fayyaz directed that all the required civic facilities be made available along the routes of the processions and the places for the Mahafil. The Water Board was also asked to ensure that there should be no sewerage problems.
