Home department, government of Sindh, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 imposed complete ban on the display of arms, security guard wearing civil clothes, except the law and enforcement agencies (LEAs), security guards wearing uniforms having resemblance with uniform of police and other LEAs, private vehicles having resemblance with vehicles of police and other LEAs, private vehicles with mounted police lights, private vehicles with tinted glasses, un-authorized blue lights and fancy number plate, private vehicles having police siren and hooters throughout the Sindh for sixty days with an immediate effect.
According to another notification the government of Sindh has in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr. P.C. imposed the ban on plying of tractors using Gobil (plougher) without tyres in district Naushahro Feroze for a period of 60 days with immediate effect.
The Sindh government in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 imposed complete ban on lifting of Reti/ Bajri and all kind of Minerals in jurisdiction of district Malir Karachi for a period of 120 days with immediate effect.
The SHOs of the concerned police stations are authorized to register the complaints under Section 188 PPC against the violators.
