The first-ever three DTH licences of the country have been auctioned for 14.694 billion Rupees.
The bidding process was completed in 15 hours in which a total of 11 companies took part.
The fee for a single licence is 4.898 Rupees.
Mega entertainment Lahore offered 4.91 billion rupees, Shahzada Sky Islamabad offered 4.90 billion rupees and Star Times Communication Islamabad offered 4.898 billion rupees to get the licence.
The successful bidders would be issued a licence after clearance from Interior Ministry and security agencies.
