Chinese embassy denies report of KP ministers’ visa refusal

A spokesperson of the Chinese embassy here contradicted a report which appeared in the press on Wednesday that the embassy had refused visas to KP’s ministers.

While responding to the inquiry from local media about the report the spokesperson said that the embassy had taken official notice of the report. After careful verification by the Chinese Embassy, it was found that there was no such case and that the report is groundless.

“The Chinese Embassy attaches great importance to the friendly exchange and cooperation between the governments of our two countries and will continue to provide assistance and facilitation in this regard,” the spokesperson said.

As per the embassy’s website, diplomatic passport holders of Pakistan are exempted from acquiring visas and they may stay in China for up to 30 days.
