The Pakistan cricket team on Tuesday reached Hamilton ahead of the second Test against New Zealand.

The team is said to take part in a training session on Wednesday, before facing the Black Caps at Seddon Park on Friday, November 25.

New Zealand beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the first Test at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, fuelled by shining performances by debutants Jeet Raval and Colin de Grandhomme, as Pakistan struggled with batting on the fast green pitch.

Pakistan will be without their captain Misbah-ul-Haq in the second Test, who had to rush home on news of the death of his father-in-law.

Azhar Ali will lead the team instead.
