A Levies man was martyred and another injured when militants attacked a security checkpost here on Sunday evening.
Security sources said that militants stormed a security checkpost with heavy artillery fire in Mohmand Agency, killing one official and wounding another. The assailants fled after security forces repulsed the attack.
The injured Levies man was shifted to Agency headquarters hospital.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation.
