The Chashma Nuclear Power Plant C-2 was temporarily shut down owing to annual maintenance and refuelling operation work.
According to details, the 350 mw electricity was suspended to grid station on temporary basis as power plant would be closed for next two months. The engineers of Pakistan and China were taking part in plant refuelling process. However, Chashma P-1 was producing 365mw electricity and Chashma C-3 and C-4 plants were on the final stages of its completion. The inauguration of these plants would be held soon.
