The Jhelum police have registered a case against British woman of Pakistan origin Samia Shahid who was killed in the name of honour in July last and her second husband Mukhtar Kazim on charges of fraud and presenting fake documents of her second marriage.
However, two others were also booked in the same case on Friday.
Haq Nawaz, the maternal uncle of the deceased, alleged in a case lodged with the Mangla police station that Samia married his nephew Shakil in their native village of Pandori near Dina, Jhelum back in 2012. She returned Pakistan in July 2016 to meet her parents where, according to him, she died of natural causes on July 20.
