The law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel arrested 12 suspects and recovered weapons and grenades from their possession during search operations here on Thursday.
The police and LEAs personnel conducted joint search operations against the outlaws in Juma Khan Karona and surrounding areas of Charsadda district.
During the search operations, the LEAs apprehended 12 suspects with arms including 11 MGs, 11 rifles, 22 pistols, 10 hand grenades, 82 magazines and 1760 bullets of different bores.
The recovered weapons were confiscated and the LEAs shifted the suspects to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
