CM Shehbaz meets governor Rajwana

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Governor Rafiq Rajwana at the Chief Minister’s House on Wednesday.

Matters of mutual interest and development projects were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that service to people was a prime obligation of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), adding that provision of basic amenities to the masses was the mission of the government. He said the completion of mega development projects in a transparent and orderly manner was the hallmark of Punjab government.

He said under the dynamic leadership of PM Nawaz Sharif, the government was pursuing public welfare programmes.

The chief minister said glaring example was set by saving billions of rupees in development projects. He was of the opinion that efforts were being made to provide better facilities to the people, and to raise their living standards.

Shehbaz Sharif said efforts were being made to overcome energy crisis. He said darkness would be removed from the country with the completion of various ongoing power projects.
