At least two people died when a speeding van hit a motorcycle on Monday.
Rescue sources said that a recklessly-driven passenger van knocked down a motorcycle carrying two people in Qila Sattar Shah area of Sheikhupura. Both bike riders died on the spot in the accident and the van driver escaped from the scene.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem and the police after registering a case against the van driver at large have started raids for his arrest.
