Pakistan team to face tough challenge to qualify for Women’s World Cup

Pakistan women cricket team is facing a tough challenge to make a place in upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s World Cup.

According to reports, ten teams would participate in the mega event that will begin in February 2017 in Colombo.

A strong face-off would be taken place between Pakistan, England, West Indies, New Zealand, South Africa and India to attain the rest of three spots as Australia have already qualified for the tournament.

As of now, Pakistan stands on the seventh position in ICC ODI ranking.

All the ten teams would be divided into two groups after which top six teams would be sent to next round.
