As a part of breast cancer awareness campaign, Nuclear Medicines Oncology and Radiotherapy Institute (NORI) on Saturday organised a seminar to create awareness about breast cancer.
NORI every year in month of October organises seminar about the awareness of breast cancer which is increasing in women.
Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission’s chairman and many other dignitaries attended the seminar. The participants showed keen interest and took part in discussion enthusiastically.
A series of events were arranged at NORI starting from 1st October. Mini-symposia were arranged and free consultation and breast cancer screening services were being provided. These activities will be continued till 31st October.
October is breast cancer awareness month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
NORI Islamabad had regularly been organising this campaign, it not only provided cancer treatment facilities to a large population but had been providing dedicated breast cancer screening services since 1996.
