Lahore roads are full of Motor cycles while the roads are not fit for thousands of Motor Cycles. During the rush hour it is often seen that three or more persons are riding the Motor Cycle. In fact separate lanes duly marked are needed to make some sense on the roads that are packed by Motor Cycle riders riding without any helmets driving like hell. Infact the speed of Motor Cycles need to be restricted by the manufacturer as in the not distant future it would be difficult to ply cars on roads that would be occupied totally by Motor cycles. Govt. should make plans either to restrict the number of Motor Cycles or be ready for loss of life on Lahore roads.
Motor Cycle drivers observe no traffic rules and flit here and there on roads posing a risk for motorists. Even sweepers and malis are seen with a broom on the back seat or a lawn mower being carried smugly by the M.C. drivers.
