Amid rising tension between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of Uri attack and Indian government false allegations a resultant in Lahore came up with a unique offer allowing people to express their anti-Modi sentiments.

Hit Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s poster with a shoe and claim a free soft drink, reads the poster outside the restaurant.

However, the locals one after another picked up the shoe and landed it on Modi’s face to vent their anger.

“I am ready to fight him till the last drop of my blood,” a 28-year-old man said.

The tension between Pakistan and India has been high since an Indian security force crackdown on protests in Occupied Kashmir began in July, following young Muslim freedom fighter Burhan Wani’s killing by Indian security forces.

Relations worsened in September when suspected militants killed 18 soldiers in a raid on an Indian army base in Uri town of Baramullah district, an attack India blamed on Pakistan. Pakistan denies the accusations.
