Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Friday has suspended the entire hiring committee of National Database and Registration Authority including the Director General during a meeting in Islamabad.
The suspension came in as irregularities surfaced upon discussion over the rented building. Reportedly, the building was rented for Rs 4.5 million per month.
Violations of the law and irregularities were revealed during the meeting after which the Federal Interior Minister took action.
The development has come in weeks after Nisar warned the officials of working to close the loopholes in the system and better their administration to avoid suspension.
