Joint session of Parliament to continue talks on Kashmir issue, LoC violation

Joint session of the Parliament will continue the discussion on Friday on Kashmir issue and situation arising out of Indian ceasefire violation along the Line of Control.

Earlier, taking part in the discussion, the parliamentarians called upon the world community to exert pressure on India to come to the negotiating table and resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Leader Abdul Qayyum said, “Pakistan will continue political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris and all other oppressed nations of the world.”

Opposition leader Chaudhary Aitzaz Ahsan said that his party will fully support the government in defending the motherland against any foreign aggression.

MQM leader Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi said, “The entire nation is united on the Kashmir issue.”

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Sahibzada Tariqullah said that the martyrdom of Burhan Wani has made the Kashmir issue a flashpoint in the world.
