Indian media, the community of former intelligence operatives and military officials, are being accused of spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda by levelling allegations without any evidence following an attack on Brigade Headquarters in Baramulla district of occupied Kashmir.

A private TV channel reported that there was a possibility of India using Tehreek-e-Taliban, separatists in Balochistan and different banned outfits to respond to Baramulla attack for which Pakistan is being wrongly blamed.

According to the Military operations analyst, Lt General (r) Saleem Nawaz, the Indian army is not capable of stunning Pakistan with an unforeseen move.

Maintaining a disapproving attitude towards Pakistan ever since independence in 1947, Indian media, this time, as well has resorted to propaganda tactics an example of which was a baseless news story aired by one of the channels that suggested a halt to Pakistan-Russia military exercises.

India’s plans to isolate Pakistan on the international level were revitalised after an attack on Brigade Headquarters in Uri Town of Baramulla district in Indian-held Kashmir on Sunday.

Over 14 personnel of the armed force were killed while at least 30 wounded in the attack that was termed as the deadliest attack on security forces in occupied Kashmir in two decades.

The terror attack came a few days before Nawaz Sharif’s address to the General Assembly of United Nations Organisation in which he will be highlight Indian atrocities in the occupied valley.

Union Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh issued a statement in which he alleged Pakistan of executing the terror attack and PM Narendra Modi, who since August 15, is promoting anti-Pakistan sentiments in Balochistan, followed suit.
