PTI leader assured party chairman Imran Khan not to get disappointed by other political parties, most notably Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek, with regards to the march towards Raiwind.
“I will make sure around a million people march towards the Raiwind palace, even if we are the only party that takes part in the march,” said Abbas, a veteran party leader, who works in the party’s information wing. “Hell, I can manage millions even if some of our own leaders back out at the prospect of actually raiding someone’s home.”
Talking to reporters after meeting her party leader on Saturday, she revealed her strategy. “Well, the first step is to open Google, obviously. Then, you click on ‘Images’ instead of ‘Web’,” she explained. “After that, type ‘huge rally.’”
“It could also be ‘million man march’, but that has ended up with a lot of black people,” she continued. “I could moderate my search with the word ‘India’, to make sure that the people look like Pakistanis, but since time is short, I won’t even do that. Earlier, we used to use things like Photoshop, but that was so labour-intensive. Just choose the pictures.”
“After selecting the image that I like, I will not only tweet that, but also send it to the various newspapers and news agencies through the information wing,” she said. “This is a tried-and-tested strategy, believe me. This is how we improved KP’s schools as well.”
