At least five people drowned after a car fell into a canal in Ghotki on Thursday.
According to a private news channel, the speedy vehicle fell into the canal near Kamu Shaheed area. Bodies of two girls and a woman were pulled out from the canal whereas the car driver was rescued alive.
The search for two other people is still underway. All the people belonged to the same family and hailed from Bahawalnagar.
